Local Voices is a balanced platform which facilitates dialogue and encourages communication amongst different people with different perspectives.
The focus of the channel are the changes we see taking place in our society; the changes we’ve been witnessing across the past 12 months, and the changes we see coming down the road.
Local Voices is open to anyone. We will present a wide variety of perspectives and encourage human beings from all walks of life to open their hearts and connect with others and to use their voice to speak from the heart about the changes they’ve seen take place thus far, with comment on the changes ahead.
We encourage discussion, within the Values of the Channel:
- Respect for the dignity of the Human Being
- Respect for Human Freedom, incl freedom of expression
Every human being appearing on the channel will have their dignity respected. We encourage discussion and freedom of expression, by leaving comments or better yet – coming on the channel to express your point of view. Whichever means of engaging in the discussion, let’s do so with respect for the dignity of the human being.

Talking with respect brings people together, brings diverse communities together and makes dialogue possible. Open communication is at the heart of a healthy community and community values.
